The reason for the creation of this site is the fact that the region of Bourgas, being a border-region and less accessable than the other regions of Bulgaria. The Strandja region is even farther out of reach for archeologists. This is the main cause for the existence of this site, which is one of the very few archeological sites dedicated specially for a certain region with a lot of useful infeormation about the marvels left behind by our ancestors
